How to Connect

Connect

The Connect Page also provides instructions on how to download the UO Immortal custom client and ClassicUO to connect to the server.

Getting Started

Step 1. Download and Unzip the UO Immortal Client
The first thing to do is download our custom Ultima Online client. A link to download a zipped copy of it is provided below. Unzip it anywhere you like (e.g., C:/Games/UO Immortal), but remember where you unzipped it. You will need the location in the next step.

Step 2: Download and Install ClassicUO
We recommend using ClassicUO to connect to the server and play the game. It has a more modern feeling interface with many options to customize your experience. Its download link is provided below.

Once installed, run ClassicUOLauncher.exe and create a profile for UO Immortal:

  1. Click the “Create your first profile!” button (or the gears icon if you already have a profile) to open the profile editor
  2. Click the “+ Add” button to make a new profile
  3. Enter a profile name like “UO Immortal”
  4. Enter the Server IP as login.uoimmortal.com
  5. Enter the Port as 2593
  6. Set the UO path to your UO Immortal folder. This is where you unzipped your client earlier
  7. Click “Save profile” and then the “BACK” button

Recommended Step: Download and Activate a ClassicUO Plugin
We recommend you use one of the following ClassicUO plugins when playing on UO Immortal. They are both UO assistant programs that automate actions in game and will help you click less and enjoy the game more.

Razor:
Razor is a tool designed to help with simple tasks while playing Ultima Online. You can use it as a plugin with ClassicUO, but it can also be used as a standalone program. A link to the Razor download page is provided below.

ClassicAssist:
ClassicAssist has a UOSteam-like interface and macro syntax. It allows for complex automated actions, though there is a learning curve when you start learning to write macros with it. A link to its download page is provided below. Download the latest “ClassicAssist.zip”.

After downloading one of the plugins:

  1. Run the ClassicUO Launcher (ClassicUOLauncher.exe)
  2. Click the gears icon, which will bring up the profile editor
  3. Make sure your profile for UO Immortal is selected
  4. Click on the Plugins tab next to the Profile tab (which should be highlighted blue)
  5. Click the “Add .zip” button
  6. Navigate to where you downloaded the plugin .zip file
  7. Click on the .zip file, then press the “Open” button
  8. Back in the profile editor window, you will see that the plugin has been added
  9. A checkmark next to the name of the plugin means it is active
  10. Click the box next to the plugin’s name to toggle it on or off
  11. Click “Save profile” and then the “BACK” button

Step 3: Use ClassicUO to Launch Client
After creating a profile for UO Immortal in the ClassicUO Launcher, select the profile name you created for UO Immortal in the drop down menu, then press play. Once the game client has launched and connected to our server, enter an account name and password to create an account. We recommend using a complex password and writing down your account information.

Other UO Assistants

Optionally, you can use Razor (as a standalone program) or UOSteam to connect to the server and play. When starting UOSteam, you may receive a “MSVCR100.dll was not found” error. UOSteam is an unsupported, aging program and requires the older 2010 version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.
