The server has been converted from RunUO to the latest version of ServUO. It was a major undertaking to transfer all the custom features of the server from one emulator to another, but it will be worth the time spent to have an emulator that is being actively developed. A ton of new features are now supported, which means new content and many more things to do in game!
Major Updates
-A system for NPC dialog through gumps has been added. Certain NPCS will have an option to Talk on their context menu when they are single-clicked. This will bring up their dialog gump, which will provide an alternative to needing to type keywords and allow for more and easier to find written content in game. However, keywords will still be used on occasion with some NPCs to progress stories/quests.
-The Time of Legends (TOL) banking system is now active on the server. When gold is deposited into your bank box, it will disappear and its value will be added to your bank account balance. You can still withdraw gold from bankers by saying "withdraw 1000" or whatever amount you wish. The new trade window can be used to directly transfer gold from your account balance to another player.
- An entry for platinum currency will be on the trade window. The conversion rate is 1,000,000,000 gold to 1 platinum, so realistically speaking, platinum will not play a role on the server.
Minor Updates
-There is now a 75% chance to fizzle 8th circle spells, instead of the traditional 50%, at GM magery.
-Ancient liches now have several new spells/abilities and will be more interesting opponents.
-When used in PvM, the mana vampire spell pulses mana from the target back to the caster. Magery skill level increases the length of time of the draining effect. Only one mana drain spell can be active on a creature.
